Meet the Photographer

Jadyn MaKayla Elledge

Hi, I'm Jadyn! My passion for taking photos began in high school during my first ever photography class. It wasn't long before my parents bought me my first DSLR camera for my 13th birthday. From there, I went on to continue studying Photography, as well as Art and Media. My photography teacher was the best. He wasn't really a conventional "teacher", he was a professional photographer himself, and instilled in his students that passion and creativity was more important than exam performance. Which is something I appreciated about him and really gleaned from.

A few years later, I picked up a camera again at my local church where I served on the Photography team for almost a year before I later came on staff. Now, part of the joy of my  Communications job is leading our amazing Photography Team during Sunday services and events. When I started getting questions from congregants that they wanted me to shoot their weddings, engagements etc., I decided it was time to pursue it professionally.

Above everything, candid photos have a special place in my heart. I'm looking forward to having the opportunity to capture your special moments that you'll be able to look back on for a lifetime!
